JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- The 67th Cyberspace Wing hosted its annual safety day event here, April 6, 2018. The sports and recreation themed event included several sports competitions and a “Gunslinger” warrior challenge. The latter pitted several teams against one another in seven timed events, where the 68th Network Warfare Squadron “Purple Dragons” captured first place.


“Sports and recreation mishaps are the leading cause of missed worked days in our Air Force,” said Tech. Sgt. Mike Ferguson, 67th CW occupational safety manager and event lead. “The aim for this safety day was to provide the participants more situational awareness and risk management techniques to consider during these activities.”
